some sea creatures in search of a parade
i was thinking how cool it would be if vashon artist/makers/shorewalkers/musicians teamed up to create a parade spectacular in the awesome tradition of giant puppet parades around the world. All made of second and third-use materials and featuring our beloved shore denizens in all their glory. How about it?
Here: pacific octopus, a cotillion of jellyfish, a shrimp to be worn on the head, a seapen hat.
2022. cardboard, old magazines, foam and odd bits scavenged at the local recycling place, the odd trip to the local thriftshop, things found by the side of the road.
